It’s a jump start for your gut, designed to reintroduce friendly bacteria in the form of a probiotic powder, with the aim of repopulating and rebalancing your gut microbiome.
Probiotics are beneficial strains of live bacteria that the gut needs for optimal health, while prebiotics are the plant fibres that the probiotics (bacteria) need to survive and thrive. aguulp for biome is packed full of:
✔️ 50bn CFU of live bacteria
✔️ 10 different, highly researched bacterial strains
✔️ Pre + probiotics – food for the good gut bacteria + more friendly bacteria to rebalance your microbiome
✔️ Clean, vegan formula – suitable for vegetarian and vegan diets and lifestyles

By taking them together in synbiotic form, you are repopulating your gut with good bacteria, while providing the bacteria with the nutrients they need to work properly.
To give you the best chance of great results, we recommend taking our probiotic for 3 months, as it can take time for changes to take effect. Both us at aguulp and other industry experts* advise those trying liquid probiotics to take them for up to 12 weeks.
*The British Society of Gastroenterology advises patients trying probiotics to take them for up to 12 weeks.
What are probiotics?
Probiotics are friendly ‘live’ bacteria and yeasts that provide health benefits.
They help to control the growth and levels of harmful and pathogenic bacteria, predominantly in the digestive system, helping to prevent infections and infestations of harmful bacteria and pathogens.

Bloating after meals? aguulp for biome review
have a question about our gut probiotic supplement?
If the constipation you are experiencing is of a chronic nature (long standing or reoccurring issue, then it would be important to ascertain what the underlying cause is, in order to address and resolve the issue long term.
There are many potential factors that may be implicated in constipation. One of the first aspects to look at is the diet to ensure you are consuming plenty of fibre in the diet such as; beans and pulses, fruit and vegetables, wholegrains and wholegrain cereals as these have a natural pre-biotic effect.
The gut microbiome may also be a causative/ contributing factor in constipation and this is because gut bacteria play a key role in bowel regularity and motility. It is important to ensure there is a good balance of healthy versus bad bacteria in the gut and that the bad bacteria do not outweigh the good. Studies have shown that probiotic supplementation can help alleviate constipation.
Therefore, aguulp for biome is the recommended product for constipation. This high strength probiotic supplement contains a combination of both pre and probiotics (the prebiotics act as a food source to the probiotics and therefore encourage further growth of healthy bacteria), which in turn, can help regulate and encourage healthy bowel movements.
aguulp for biome contains both pre and probiotics in a high dose, which are designed to work synergistically together to target any gut microbial imbalance (dysbiosis). Prebiotics act as a food source to the healthy bacteria already residing in the gut and to the external supply of the probiotic supplement, helping to address any imbalance of good versus bad bacteria in the gut.
Rebalancing of your gut microbiome can have a beneficial impact to any symptoms that may arise from dybiosis (e.g. bloating). We would recommend taking aguulp for biome for a period of 12 weeks, which should allow enough time for the beneficial bacteria to rebalance your gut microbiome.
Of course, there are other factors that may contribute to your symptoms such as the diet, lifestyle, medications, stress etc so it would be recommended to also look to evaluate if there are any changes that could be made to improve symptoms from these aspects too.
We recommended that our probiotics are taken in the morning, ideally with breakfast or just after for best results.
Many studies show that both pre and probiotics play a role in the management of UC. Healthy bacteria (and prebiotics which help to encourage the growth of healthy gut bacteria) colonise the colon and compete with the less friendly bacteria which can attack and inflame the colon.
These beneficial bacteria also help to digest food particles, resulting in less residue for the harmful bacteria to ferment on, helping to discourage unpleasant digestive symptoms.
In such case, aguulp for biome would be recommended for UC.
Whilst they have their uses in treating illnesses and preventing infection, antibiotics alter the balance of gut bacteria in your body.
This is because antibiotics eliminate both the good and bad bacteria in the gut. Whilst an overgrowth of bad bacteria in your gut can be harmful, a balance of good and bad bacteria is healthy.
We would recommend the use of aguulp for biome following a course of antibiotics, to replenish the lost good gut bacteria, and to help rebalance your gut microbiome.
Autoimmune diseases cause an abnormal immune response in which the body attacks and damages its own tissues. With Graves’ disease, the immune system attacks the tissue in the thyroid gland, causing it to make more hormones that the body needs, and as a result, bodily systems speed up- a condition known as hyperthyroidism.
The exact cause of autoimmune diseases like Graves’ disease is unknown but it is believed that certain factors may ‘trigger’ an abnormal immune response. These factors may include (but are not limited to) genetic predisposition and environmental factors such as stress and viral/bacterial infection.
There is also a growing body of evidence suggesting that an imbalance of bacteria in the gut, known as dysbiosis, may also be a causative factor in the development of auto immune conditions. Furthermore, studies show that dysbiosis has been found specifically in autoimmune thyroid diseases such as Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and Graves’ disease. The research shows that the composition of the gut microbiota is altered in these conditions, and specifically that beneficial bacteria such as Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus are decreased in auto immune thyroid diseases.
It has also been shown that the composition of the gut microbiota has an influence on the availability of essential micronutrients that are needed to maintain proper functioning of the thyroid gland (such as Iodine, iron, copper, selenium and zinc) and that these nutrients are often deficient in those with auto immune thyroid diseases such as Graves’ disease and Hashimoto’s, resulting in malfunctioning of the thyroid.
Studies have shown that supplementation of probiotics exerts beneficial effects on thyroid hormones and thyroid function and although the research into this area is only in it’s infancy, it is becoming increasingly accepted that therapeutic strategies to specifically target the gut microbiome is likely to become an essential strategy in managing Graves’ disease and other auto immune diseases in the future.
aguulp for biome has been expertly designed to target the microbiome by providing both pre and probiotics at therapeutic levels to repopulate the gut with a broad variety of healthy bacteria strains to restore gut microbial balance and optimise gut health and immunity. By restoring the composition of gut bacteria with the use of an external supply of probiotics (especially when combined with prebiotics which encourage the growth of healthy bacteria in the gut), this may have a positive effect on auto immune conditions such as Graves’ disease, according to research.
Although it is not the case for everybody, it is quite normal to experience side effects as a result of taking any product that may alter the gut microbiome. Side effects are more likely to occur if an individual has never taken probiotic before or if they have a significant imbalance of good and bad bacteria in their gut (known as dysbiosis).
Symptoms can occur as a result of the introduction of new probiotic bacteria or yeast in the gut and the period of time in which they need to adjust to their new environment. There may be an alteration in gas production due to bacterial fermentation which may contribute to or worsen pre -existing symptoms such as bloating, excess flatulence and alterations to bowel patterns etc. Symptoms typically occur or can worsen within the first few days of taking a product containing live bacteria but are usually only temporary and subside.
If symptoms do not subside after a few days of consistently taking the product, it may indicate that the strain or strains of bacteria in the product are not suitable for the individual and for their health needs or microbiome. In this case, it would be advised to discontinue use of the supplement.
There are several factors that may influence the time it takes to feel a difference and experience the benefits of taking probiotic supplementation. This is because we are all unique and the composition of our gut microbiome is completely different to anyone else. Factors can include the specific strain of bacteria that is being used, the composition of the gut microbiome of the individual and the symptoms they are experiencing, making it difficult to predict how quickly an individual will respond to a particular probiotic product. Different strains of probiotic bacteria have different effects on the gut microbiome and some work more quickly than others, according to the studies on them. The way we react to them as individuals also varies quite significantly. A 3 month period is a good time to review and reflect on whether or not you feel the product is working for you.
